An ambitious and intellectual psychologist finds herself having to dismantle her identity when she lands a job as an agony aunt for famed Drum Magazine and learns that being ‘real’ is as important as being ‘clever’.

SYNOPSIS:
In order to save her floundering psychology practice in Mamelodi, a social worker in her late 30’s, Mmabotsana, applies for the iconic and revered Agony-Aunt job at Drum Magazine as a last resort. Although she is shortlisted, she has to face off against two equally ambitious younger candidates than her, Rameetsa and Paseka (early 30’s) in a three-month probation face-off period, after which, the enigmatic Editor-in-Chief of Dum Magazine, Melody ‘MM’ Makaringe, will decide who next gets to fill the big shoes of the next ‘Sis Dolly’, Auntie to the nation who will always give you the right advice when one has to make difficult life choices.
